Ukreximbank strengthens partnership with the Chinese banks

JSC Ukreximbank keeps on developing the strategic ways of cooperation with the leading financial institutions of South-East Asia.

In the course of the state visit of Mr. Viktor Yanukovych, President of Ukraine, to the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Mykola Udovychenko, Chairman of the Board of JSC Ukreximbank and a member of the official delegation of Ukraine, signed a number of crucial Agreements with the Chinese counterparties, particularly with the Export-Import Bank of China.

The formal signing ceremony was held on September 3, 2010 in Beijing in the presence of Mr. Viktor Yanukovych, President of Ukraine, in the framework of the Ukrainian-Chinese Business Forum.

The Agreements will facilitate the cooperation in trade finance and financial back-up for Ukrainian-Chinese projects, including energy efficiency projects.

“There is no doubt that the signed documents will induce inv.estments and trade between Ukraine and the Peoples’ Republic of China and will benefit the broadening of comprehensive relations between the business entities of P.R. China and Ukraine” believes Mr. Mykola Udovychenko.
